have you ever had a bad experience using the Goodwill Auctions ? if yes, please feel free to use my blog to document what occured.

i will tell you about something that happened to me:
on 9/22/2009, i won an item desribed as Vintage Hollywood and Rock & Roll B&W Photos (5249096) for 32.00 plus 10.14 shipping. when the photos arrived, they were cheap copies and not vintage as described.

when i complained, Goodwill of Eugene, Oregon said sorry but refused to refund my shipping fees both to me and back to them. when i pressed the issue, the agreed to send a return shipping label but not to pay the initial shipping to me. when i wrote them further that the responsibility was not buyer remorse but a lack of honesty of their part, they said their policy was not to refund shipping costs.

i requested to speak to a supervisor named Matt. i have written six emails to Matt and never gotten a reply

my point is that even with eBay there is a recourse of leaving negative feedback, there is none with Goodwill or dispute the transaction. Goodwill has no system or balances
